Privacy Policy
ToastKeep is an iPad wedding video guestbook provided by Chuck Knowles. This policy explains how the ToastKeep app and toastkeep.com handle information.
Recordings and app settings
ToastKeep records video and audio only after a guest starts a recording. Saved recordings, guest-entered names, prompts, event settings, and organizer settings remain in the app’s local storage on the iPad. ToastKeep does not operate an account system or backend service and does not automatically upload this information to us or save recordings to Photos.
An organizer can choose to export recordings to a location available through Apple’s Files interface. That destination may be provided by Apple or another third party and is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
Permissions
The app requests camera and microphone access to record video messages. If enabled by the organizer, it also requests notification permission to schedule local backup reminders on the iPad. These permissions can be changed in iPad Settings.
Information we collect
The ToastKeep app does not send Chuck Knowles personal data, recordings, analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking information. We do not sell personal information and do not track users across apps or websites.
Website and support
Toastkeep.com does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. Like most hosting providers, our hosting and network providers may process limited technical information, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site.
If you email support, we receive the information you include, such as your email address and message. We use it only to respond, diagnose problems, maintain the service, and meet legal obligations. Do not send wedding recordings or sensitive personal information unless support specifically asks for it.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on the iPad until the organizer deletes recordings, resets or erases the device, or removes the app. Exported copies are controlled by the organizer and the selected destination. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, and legal recordkeeping.
Children
ToastKeep is intended for use at events under the direction of the purchaser or event organizer. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children’s information through an online service.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as ToastKeep changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
